What follows are all the gas plant emails released this week by the Ministry of Government Services. These materials appear to be a small slice of the 3,226 backup tapes reported Wednesday by Sue-Ann Levy in the Toronto Sun.

The first two are tiny, not very interesting notices of meetings.

The remaining two files are monster email dumps (535MB for Box 7 and 412MB for Box 6) keying in on Craig MacLennan, former Chief of Staff to energy ministers Brad Duguid and Chris Bentley. During his appearance before the Legislature’s Justice Policy Committee inquiring into the gas plant scandal, MacLennan admitted to scorching his records of electronic communications and repeatedly testified “I don’t recall” as opposition MPPs sought details on the cancelled and renegotiated gas plant contracts.
