WIND POWER IN ONTARIO: QUANTIFYING THE BENEFITS OF GEOGRAPHIC DIVERSITY

Using Ontario wind power production data, this study quantifies the benefits of positioning wind farms in geographically diverse locations to mitigate variability and smooth wind power’s contribution to electricity generation.
