The Windsor Square news portal is reporting that Windsor police have charged solar FIT developer Michael Levesque, 46, from LaSalle, with 44 fraud related offences.

Windsor Square reports that police believe there may be other victims and they are asked to call 519-255-6700 x4330.

Folks following my comments on this issue may remember one of the commentators on this site arguing that I was “over-reacting” when, in 2010 I proposed that the Ontario Power Authority monitor solar FIT contracts for fraud. (The OPA has since been merged with the iESO.)
