  1. It’s my sad observation that few public officials in Canada will commit to the same principles, for the people from whom they still dare beg votes and and demand taxes in return for non-representation.

To paraphrase a Canadian radio talk show host that “gets it”, government is being transitioned from a public service to a public serve-us.

As Harper is often quoted as having said in 2005: “When a government starts trying to cancel dissent or avoid dissent is frankly when it’s rapidly losing its moral authority to govern”

That didn’t take long, did it.

In alignment on all issues, political ideologies or not – you have my respect, Tom Adams – which our corrupt political system has lost.

  2. The St. Clair combined cycle gas plant was a joint venture between Invenergy Thermal LLC and Stark Investments, Milwaukee, WI

    Stark Investments is winding down.

Is there any information on the effects of the Stark Investments wind down and how it relates to this Ontario project?

Internet news sources say that Invenergy has re-financed this project but it was due for re-financing in 2014 anyway.
