Here is a quick review of the recent Conference Board report on Canada’s electricity infrastructure. While I agree that consumers need utilities to maintain a sustaining level of investment and catch up for low investment in recent years, I am concerned about a careless spending burst that ignores the need for productivity. Another concern I have is the lack of free trade in electricity within Canada.
