One week after the ice storm started, tens of thousands of customers are still blacked out in Toronto. The workers bringing Toronto’s power back on deserve our appreciation.
Please come to Nathan Phillips Square tonight at 5 pm to rally in support of the workers reconnecting our city.
My current thought is to invite folks to sign a thank-you card recognizing all the workers bringing the lights back on. If folks have better ideas, please share.
Post Script December 29 6:30 am: Here is a Toronto Sun note on developments.
