Lights On Toronto Rally

Early this morning, Toronto Hydro was reporting 54,700 customers without power. By mid afternoon the number of customers had only come down to 54,000. When I originally proposed a Lights On Toronto event to express appreciation to those reconnecting our city, I mistakenly thought it would be a party to celebrate all customers back on-line. At this point, the Light On Toronto event is less a party and more a rally to encourage those we depend on to finish the job as quickly and safely as possible.

Please come to Nathan Phillips Square at 5 pm December 28 to support the workers reconnecting Toronto.
