The City of Toronto is advertising for directors to sit on the board of Toronto Hydro Corporation, the holding company for the regulated utility Toronto Hydro Electric System Limited. The key function of the board is to supervise the CEO of Toronto Hydro. Citizens of Toronto can only hope that the City finds some new directors who will discourage the utility’s executives from threatening public safety.
