On Thursday December 15th, the National Post hosted an on-line debate on Canada’s energy future between Mike Crawley and myself. Here it is.
Mike Crawley is President, CEO and Director of International Power Canada, Inc. Toronto-based IPC operates primarily wind assets in Ontario, Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick and soon, British Columbia. IPC is majority owned by French utility giant GDF Suez. Mike was President of AIM Powergen, developer of one of the first large commercial wind farms in Ontario near Port Burwell on Lake Erie. That development was openly tendered.
Until recently Mike was President of the Federal Liberal Party (Ontario) and is now a candidate running to be president of the Liberal Party of Canada. Mike’s Federal Liberal party leadership blog is here.
Details on the event are here.
